Zhang Feiyue is the supervisor of the Metal Processing Workshop in the Production Department. Over his 7-year career, Engineer Zhang has rooted himself in the frontline of production—he is not only a key contributor to efficiency improvement but also a practitioner of the enterprise's high-quality development. With his exquisite technical skills honed over the years, he has grown continuously from a frontline production worker to a production manager, tempered by experience. In 2024, the Metal Processing Workshop under his leadership put forward 8 rationalization proposals, including 2 on quality improvement, with 2 proposals submitted personally by Engineer Zhang. In the company's quality upgrading efforts, he has always dared to innovate and overcome technical bottlenecks affecting production efficiency. Currently, the cylinder spindles of some machine models have realized turning instead of grinding, all meeting the drawing requirements, and production efficiency has increased by more than 3 times. Starting from 2022, Engineer Zhang implemented a series of measures such as tool recycling and replacement, tool regrinding, and brand substitution. By 2024, tool consumption had decreased by 14% compared with previous years. In the future, Engineer Zhang will further explore cost reduction space through process optimization, lowering production costs while ensuring quality and efficiency.
