After more than a decade of development and accumulation, the Shengze Textile Expo has evolved into a high-energy platform that leads industry trends and links global resources. At this edition, over 300 outstanding textile enterprises and more than 1,500 global buyers will engage in a 3-day industrial chain supply-demand matching event. Core local enterprises in Shengze will compete and showcase their strengths alongside elite counterparts from Shanghai, Shenzhen, Guangzhou, and other regions. The event will feature 9 fashion shows, 3 top-tier industry competitions, and 2 international conferences—the International Advanced Fiber Materials Innovation Conference and the China International Silk Conference. The five major segments—"shows, exhibitions, competitions, conferences, and business matching"—will join forces to interpret the new-era connotation of "Shengze leads the world in fabrics" and compose a splendid chapter of high-end textiles shaping the future!

During the event, 10 industrial transformation and upgrading platforms in Shengze were unveiled, including the Sci-Tech Innovation Carrier in the Core Area of Shengze High-Speed Railway Station, Wujiang Textile Circular Economy Industrial Park, CIMC (Wujiang) New Materials and Intelligent Manufacturing Industrial Park, Shengze New Materials Industry Base, Wujiang High-End Textile Equipment Manufacturing Industrial Park, Shengze Synthetic Biology Innovation Park, Yangtze River Delta (Shengze) Modern Supply Chain Industrial Park, Cross-Border E-Commerce Industrial Park, Shengze Oriental Textile City, and Shengze International Textile City. These platforms will support Shengze in building a "1+3+N" modern industrial system, with high-end textiles as the pillar, and new materials, intelligent equipment, and modern service industries as key focuses. By concentrating on critical areas of industrial development, they will provide strong support for the transformation and upgrading of the textile industry.

Following the opening ceremony, the finals of the 2025 Oriental Cup China Women's Fashion Design Competition were held, with 1 Gold Award, 2 Silver Awards, 2 Bronze Awards, and 1 Online Popularity Award selected on-site. Notably, the design works released extensively adopted high-quality fabrics from Shengze. By transforming "fabrics" into "finished garments," the event presented a splendid feast of women's fashion design to the audience. Several brand new product launch shows were also held on-site.
